Laurie Robinson

Strategic Advisor Fundraising

Laurie Robinson’s 43-year career in development began while still an undergraduate at Cornell University and has spanned the gamut of various development functions including research, annual giving, and principal gifts. During her tenure, she successfully worked with individuals and families who have the potential to make the very largest gifts to the university. She also served as Cornell’s first Director of Volunteer and Staff Training, developing a comprehensive training program for volunteers and staff engaged in the university’s fundraising efforts.

 

Laurie served as Cornell’s Director of Development for 14 years, during which time she was responsible for all of the university’s fund-raising efforts. In that role, she provided leadership in planning and implementing a comprehensive fund-raising program for the university, its colleges, and units.

 

Laurie has also served as a consultant and workshop leader for a variety of educational, research, and human services organizations.
