Bajiha is an advocate and patient living with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) since 2002. She is a university teacher in Marrakech, Morocco and the founder of AMAL, a patient support group for people living with leukemia. She is also the co-founder of CML Life Africa and has been a member of the CML Advocates Network Steering Committee since 2010. Bajiha is a prolific speaker and the author of four books. She has received numerous honors, including by the Moroccan Ministry of Civil Society.
