Andrea Lucard brings extensive experience across human health challenges and continents to the Human Immunome Project. As former Chief Officer of Corporate Strategy and Affairs at Medicines for Malaria Venture, she led resource mobilization efforts raising over $1 billion from foundations, governments and corporations spanning Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa.

Her expertise bridges infectious diseases (malaria, neglected tropical diseases, diarrheal diseases), maternal health, snakebite envenoming, and women’s neurological health across diverse geographic and socioeconomic contexts. Currently Co-Chair of Concept Foundation, board member for icddr,b in Bangladesh, and advisor to mulitple global health initiatives, Andrea works across product development partnerships, research institutions, and advocacy coalitions worldwide.

With experience engaging partners from the Gates Foundation and Wellcome Trust to governments across six continents, and addressing health challenges from rural agricultural communities to global policy forums including the World Health Assembly, Andrea connects immunological science to real-world health impact globally.
