Olvin D’Souza has over 20 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, strategic planning, and project management in the corporate and non-profit sectors. He brings extensive knowledge working and managing the full cycle accounting functions in the manufacturing, banking, construction, services, and non-profit industries nationally and internationally. Olvin’s experience includes: preparation of monthly financial statements including cash flows and monthly departmental reports; structuring and financing of joint ventures; directing and managing chart of accounts optimization; and business intelligence system implementation and navigation.
D’Souza has worked as a senior manager, controller, and most recently served as an accounting officer for a privately funded non-profit think tank managing their $13 million annual operating budget and over $60 million investments portfolio. He won the 2010 CEO excellence award for process improvement and was a two time CEO excellence award nominee for the SOX implementation and JV financing. D’Souza is well versed in Oracle Financials, People Soft, Abila Fund Accounting, Business Objects, and Hyperion. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Virgina Project Management Professional (PMP).
He received a Bachelor’s from Mangalore University, Karnatake, India, and a MBA from United States International University.
