Director of Operations
Michelle Woehrle is the Director of Operations for Human Immunome Project. She transitioned to this role in August 2023 after initially joining as a Senior Project Manager. Michelle works with the CEO and Chief of Staff to support the mobilization of resources needed to enact HIP’s new strategic plan as well as to optimize and build the team needed to deliver on its bold mission and vision.
Michelle has more than 10 years of nonprofit management experience in medical philanthropy and patient advocacy and more than 15 years of experience with start-up and mid-size nonprofits. She previously served as Executive Director of Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN) Research Foundation, and was proud to see the vision of a patient-led initiative enacted and thrive, specifically through a patient reported outcomes data initiative and multiple rounds of grant funding.
Michelle Woehrle has a B.A. from University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master’s of Public Administration from Roosevelt University with a focus in nonprofit management.
